Orthopedic Surgeon To Give Free Seminar In Mountain Top

PLAINS TWP., Pa. (June 1, 2016) -- George Ritz, M.D., an orthopedic surgeon on staff at Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, will present a free seminar at 6 p.m. June 7 at the Marian Sutherland Kirby Library, 35 Kirby Ave., Mountain Top.

Dr. Ritz will discuss the basics of joint pain, the benefits of joint replacement surgery and will explain the detailed process in place at The Joint Center at General Hospital.

Dr. Ritz, a Mountain Top resident, is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is a graduate of Allegheny University of the Health Sciences and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the State University of New York-Brooklyn.
