Physician To Discuss Gynecological Issue

BERWICK, Pa. (June 6, 2016) – Ayesha Usman, M.D., will present “Treatment Options for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB)” at 6 p.m. June 23 at the Berwick YMCA, third floor, 231 West Third St., Berwick.

The free community health seminar is part of an ongoing collaboration between Commonwealth Health Berwick Hospital Center and the Berwick YMCA to promote wellness and healthy living in the community.

Dr. Usman is an obstetrician/gynecologist on the staff of the Berwick hospital. She will discuss the many causes of abnormal uterine bleeding that occur at any age, along with the variety of treatment options available. She will discuss how hormonal changes and thyroid play a role in the diagnosis and treatment of AUD.
