Wilkes-Barre General, First Hospitals Announce Top Employees

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (Jan. 24, 2017) – Commonwealth Health has announced its top employee and managers at Wilkes-Barre General and First  hospitals.

Georgia Daniels, Warrior Run, a registration clerk in the admissions department, was named Employee of the Year. Part of her award includes a trip to Nashville. Daniels has been employed by the health care system since 1975.

Jason Thomas, Dallas, was named Non-Clinical Manager of the Year at General Hospital where he is the market director on the help desk in the management information systems department. In addition, Thomas was selected from employees in several states as the Division IV Non-Clinical Manager of the Year for Community Health Systems. He also was awarded a trip to Nashville. Thomas has been with the hospital since 1997.

Heather Sartin, a registered nurse at First Hospital, was named Clinical Manager of the Year. Sartin, of Kingston, is a nurse manager and has been with the hospital since 2000.
