Commonwealth Health Crisis Center To Be Honored

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (Oct. 5, 2018) –The Commonwealth Health Crisis Response and Recovery Center at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital is the recipient of this year’s Lester Verano Award presented by NAMI Luzerne/Wyoming Counties Chapter. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

The award is presented annually to an individual or group in recognition of exceptional work, commitment and advocacy in helping people deal with mental illness.

The award presentation will take place at 6 p.m. Oct. 10 at the candlelight vigil held at the King’s College Chapel in Wilkes-Barre.
