Outpatient Pharmacy

Outpatient Pharmacy

We reopened The Apothecary at Moses Taylor, which now offers a new Meds-to-Beds bedside delivery program available to patients at both Moses Taylor and Regional Hospital of Scranton. Our pharmacy team works with your care team to make sure you leave the hospital with the medications you need, without an extra stop on your way home. Our outpatient pharmacy provides:

  • Meds-to-Beds bedside prescription delivery before discharge.
  • A medication review with a team member during your hospital stay.
  • Coordination of prior authorizations with your insurance.
  • Assistance transferring future prescription refills to your preferred pharmacy.

Meds-to-Beds Bedside Delivery Program
Our Meds-to-Beds program is designed with patients in mind. Before you leave the hospital, a team member will visit your room to review your current medications and discuss any new prescriptions. If you sign up for Meds-to-Beds delivery, we’ll collect your insurance information and any prescription copays, and coordinate any prior authorizations needed so there’s no delay in starting your medications. Your prescriptions are then delivered directly to your bedside, so you can focus on going home and staying healthy.

  • Bedside delivery, so there’s no pharmacy stop needed on the way home.
  • More time to focus on your health and recovery.
  • Support staying on track with your medication plan.
